With Christmas right around the corner, nothing says cozy and nostalgic quite like the spicy crunch of a ginger snap. These cookies have been around for centuries -originally popular in Europe where ginger was prized not just for flavor but also for its warming qualities in winter. Over time, ginger snaps became a holiday staple in North America, loved for their crisp edges, chewy centers, and that unmistakable blend of cinnamon, ginger, and cloves.
And here’s the best part: this dough isn’t just for cookies. Roll it out and you’ve got the perfect base for gingerbread men, houses, or whatever festive shapes your imagination dreams up!
