The Waterfront Splash Pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing is opening on Sunday, and it will operate daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
“The Waterfront Splash Pad at Prince Arthur’s Landing is one of our most popular summer attractions,” said Sport & Community Development Supervisor Paul Burke. “It’s a vibrant gathering place that draws families from across Thunder Bay and beyond to enjoy the waterfront experience.”
On June 20, the splash pads at Franklin Park and the North End Community Centre will open for the season, operating daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“The start of splash pad season always brings excitement and energy to our neighbourhood parks,” said Manager of Parks & Open Spaces, Cory Halvorsen. “With each location offering a different design and experience, we invite residents to visit and enjoy them all.”
Thunder Bay’s splash pads typically remain open through early September, depending on weather conditions.
