Thunder Bay is kicking off some construction work along Cornwall Avenue.
The work is taking place between Banning Street and Crown Street.
The infrastructure work is taking place in the back lane, but Cornwall will still be limited to local traffic only in the area.
The work is expected to take approximately six weeks and will include:
- Installation of new catch basin leads
- Watermain looping and tie-in to the existing main on Cornwall Avenue
- Construction of new retaining walls
The back lane will be fully closed during the project.
Residents and drivers are asked to drive with caution in the area and to follow posted signage.
