From this morning’s “TODAY IN THE BAY”:
Have you heard of CUFFING SEASON? It’s happening right now.
“Cuffing Season” is defined in the Merriam-Webster dictionary as: “the time of year when single people actively search for short-term romantic partners to spend the colder months with”.
It usually starts in late October and runs until the 3rd week of February.
DailyHive.com listed 3 tips in order to make this a successful ‘cuffing season’…..and it has to do with spending $$:
1: Don’t break the bank for a date (naturally you want to pull out all the stops on that first date – they say to budget accordingly)
2: Fe financially compatible with your partner (it’s ok to talk finances while dating – because you don’t want any surprises should the relationship become long term).
3: Don’t let money hold your love life back. Spend within reason, and be open about that.
SOOOO…..Happy “Cuffing Season”???? WHAT?
