A month-long investigation by Thunder Bay Police has resulted in the arrest of three people on drug charges.
The investigation began back in May, when police seized a handgun, ammunition, cocaine and oxycodone.
As a result of that investigation, police executed a search warrant on Tuesday on a McLaughlin Street residence.
A number of charges were laid including drug trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
One of the suspects from Oshawa faces a number of other charges including: Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, Careless Storage of a Firearm, Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon, Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition, Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order, and two counts of Failure to Comply with a Probation Order.
The other two people are from London, Ontario and Thunder Bay.
They have all been remanded into custody pending future court dates.
