Elderly Pedestrian Dies Following Collision

The pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on the north side has died of her injuries.

The incident took place on Thursday in the parking lot of a mini-mall on Red River Road between Clarkson Street and Junot Avenue.

Thunder Bay police report the 89-year-old woman died in hospital after she sustained serious injuries in the collision.

Her name has been withheld at the request of the family.
