Chamber President Supports New COVID Sanctions

No complaints from the president of the Thunder Bay Chamber of Commerce now that the Ford government has put tighter restrictions on the Thunder Bay district.

We have been moved to the yellow level of protection which includes placing restrictions on the hours of restaurants and bars that serve alcohol and on gyms which the Chamber’s Charla Robinson agrees with.

“The public probably won’t notice that much of a change,” says Robinson since the sanctions do not force any business closures.

She believes the move is reasonable and should make us sit up and take notice adding, “I think this actually sends a message to the community that things have changed and I think it’s an important message that we all need to pay attention to so we can get this under control without having to go further.”

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
