Police Catch Three B&E Suspects

A string of break and enters over the weekend has led to charges against three men.

Thunder Bay police tell us they were alerted to a break in at the Baggage Building on Pearl Street Saturday night, where they arrested a 48-year-old man, who also charged with breach of probation.

A few hours later, they picked up an 18-year-old after a break in at a pharmacy on Memorial Avenue, the suspect was treated for injuries from broken glass.

Police add around 4:30, they arrested a 22-year-old following the break in of a room at the Midtown Inn on Cumberland Street, he tried to escape while at the police station. Police also charged him with theft under $5,000.

The Thunder Bay men appeared in bail court, were released, and have future court dates.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
