Some new money from the provincial government helping to maintain some teaching positions previously cut by the Rainy River District School Board.
Chair Raymond Roy says significant funding for a math strategy was received after they’ve finalized the budget a couple of weeks.
Roy says he’d still like to hear from MPP Greg Rickford about their funding challenges.
He’s also wondering how many teaching positions will be saved by the funding that’s still under review.
