Teddy Bear Picnic Takes Over Vickers Park

Thousands of parents and kids are expected to gather at Vickers Park for the Teddy Bears Picnic.

Cultural Development and Events Supervisor Louisa Costanzo tells us she’s in awe this event has been able to continue for 37 years.

“You never know how events are going to go, and it’s always a learning experience every year. For this event to go on for 37 years, I think it speaks volumes to how great it is, and what it means to this community.”

The picnic starts at noon and runs until four, in case of rain the event will be moved indoors to the Fort William Gardens.
