Charges laid in collision at beginning of July

A 22-year-old driver has been charged in connection to a collision involving a motorcycle earlier this month.

Thunder Bay Police say just after 11 pm on July 3, a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle crashed in the area of Mountdale Avenue and Arthur Street.

The two people on the motorcycle sustain life-altering injuries.

As a result of the investigation by the Thunder Bay Police’s Traffic and Forensic Identification Units, three charges have been laid.

They include two counts of careless driving causing bodily harm and having a G1 license unaccompanied by a qualified driver.
