April robbery suspect arrested

Thunder Bay City Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a robbery in Oliver-Paipoonge.

A man entered a business on Arthur Street West in April and brandished a knife toward an employee.

He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say a 35-year-old Thunder Bay man has now been arrested and charged with robbery and wearing a disguise with the intent of committing a crime.

He remains in custody pending a future court appearance.
