The first FreshCo grocery store will open in Thunder Bay this fall.
The store’s parent company, Sobey’s, says it’ll take over the Safeway store on Court Street, with closure of that store happening this spring.
Renovations will take about four to five months.
The western based Sobey’s adds a temporary pharmacy will open near the store, so as to not interrupt service provided by the current Safeway pharmacy.
