Roseview Cases Dominate Latest COVID Count

The pandemic continues to stay relevant in our area.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is announcing 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the region.

It brings to 108 the number of active cases in the district.

Ten of those cases involve the residents of the Southbridge Roseview long-term care facility who were tested this week.

The home says 33 residents have so far tested positive for the virus along with 24 staff members.

Two of the other new cases are self-isolating and came into contact with someone else who had the virus.

In Ontario, there are 1,824 cases of COVID-19 reported today.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
