Ribfest is coming back, but not in its typical fashion due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Chair Gladys Berringer tells us they didn’t want to give up on one of Our Kids Count’s biggest fundraisers.
“We are doing a drive-thru model, there will be a one-way entrance in and out. People will take your order, you get your order and you are on your way,” Berringer says.
The drive-thru Ribfest is being held at the C.L.E. Grounds on August 27th, 28th, 29th & 30th.
Berringer adds 50/50 tickets are being sold during the event as well and the fundraising goal is anywhere from $15,000 to $20,000.
“We wanted Ribfest to still be on people’s minds and for us to raise a few dollars for Our Kids Count,” Berringer says.
