You are invited to provide your thoughts on what issues should be included in the city’s new community safety plan.
Crime Prevention Council Coordinator Leanne Chevrette tells us this new provincially mandated plan will build on their previous plan.
“The new plan will have some additional features to it, sort of a different higher-level focus in many ways to address some of the most complex social, safety and well being in our community,” Chevrette says.
The public forum on community safety is taking place Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Italian Cultural Centre.
The Crime Prevention Council already has a plan they created in 2017 however this plan will involve more aspects of the community.
