As a kid I used to watch Charlie’s Angels on TV all the time. I loved the spy action and the fact that the ladies were not only beautiful, they were also tough and smart. I really enjoyed the two movies from the early 2000’s with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu as well. The movies were a bit smarter, and obviously more action packed, but I felt like they were missing something. Well, the first clip for the NEW Charlie’s Angels reboot just came out and I think they may have hit the nail on the head with this one. It stars Kristen Stewart, Ella Balinska, Naomi Scott, Patrick Stewart (!) and Elizabeth Banks. Elizabeth Banks also wrote the screenplay AND directed the film! Everything I’ve seen her involved with has been pretty great, I am definitely an Elizabeth Banks fan so I am super excited to see what she does with this film! Sadly, the film doesn’t come out until November so I’ll have to wait…Check out the clip below!
