The president of Confederation College does not appear overly concerned over provincial funding changes.
Kathleen Lynch suggests the plan to fund colleges and universities based on student performance is not uncharted territory.
She says they have always been in a system when their funding has been tied to student outcomes, but now that it will be increased.
The province eventually will be tying 60 percent of post-secondary funding to student grades.
Lynch does not envision this new formula forcing the school to turn away potential students.
