Ontario Provincial Police and Treaty Three Police are investigating a suspicious death on the Big Island First Nation.
Police say they are in the very early stages of the probe.
No information has been released on the victim.
OPP say 26-year-old Stacy Comegan of Big Grassy River First Nation has been charged with one count of indignity to a dead body.
He remains in custody and will appear in court on Tuesday.
